Back on track - focus and clarity after the summer

The summer was loud, full of impressions, perhaps also a little chaotic. And now? Sitting there with your to-do list, a few open booking emails, your half-updated EPK - and asking yourself: Where do I start?

This is exactly the moment when you come back to yourself. The transition from summer to fall is like a gentle reminder: you can find your way back into focus. Not with pressure, but with awareness.

I recommend this gentle restart. For you as a musician, for your creative business, for your inner clarity.

Here are three things that will help you get back into the flow:

1. clean up inside first
What have you learned this summer? Which gigs have strengthened you, which have exhausted you? Write down three experiences that you are proud of. And also three things you want to let go of. This is not esoteric - this is self-management in the music business.

2. take 90 minutes for your goals
Sit down in a quiet place and answer three questions: What do I want to achieve by December? What will really bring me joy? And what steps can I take this week? As a musician in creative self-employment, you need your own structure - no one is going to do it for you. But that's exactly your strength: you can build your own path.

3. focus is not a state - it's a decision
If you're distracted right now, that's okay. But ask yourself: How do I want to feel when I look back on December 31? Your music deserves space. And you can start consciously creating it again today.

In my music coaching sessions, I often find that you don't need a huge plan. You just need the first clear thought. And then the next step.

Kind regards
