Christina Baur – Artist Management, Coaching & Mentoring

Christina Baur is an artist manager, coach, and mentor based in Munich, London, and Los Angeles. For over a decade, she has been supporting musicians and creative professionals on their journey to a sustainable, professional, and economically successful career in the music industry.

Her own career began early: she started piano lessons at the age of eight, trained as an actress, and developed a deep connection to art, the stage, and live music at a young age. This artistic perspective continues to form the basis of her work today, complemented by in-depth industry knowledge and strategic expertise.

After graduating from high school, Christina completed an internship at one of Germany's largest radio stations. There, she realized that she saw her future in working with and for artists. She then studied tourism and event management in Germany and California. During this time, she gained extensive practical experience at festivals in the US, on tours with ensembles, and in the areas of online marketing, time and project management, visa organization, and international artist management.

Today, Christina works for an international artist management company based in London and Los Angeles, where she actively manages five to six artists each week. Her responsibilities include international bookings, contract negotiations, strategic career planning, website and brand development, single and release strategies via her own label, and accompanying artists on tour.

Christina is also part of the international Tour Music Fest (TMF) in Italy, one of the most renowned promotion formats for young and independent artists in Europe. In this context, she works closely with international industry representatives, juries, coaches, and event organizers and is involved in the artistic development, evaluation, and support of musicians. Her work at the Tour Music Fest combines international talent promotion, network building, and practical insights into the European music market, strengthening Christina's international perspective on career development and sustainable artist promotion. She has been an official member of the jury since 2025.

At the same time, Christina has supported over 200 artists as a coach, mentor, or manager in recent years. Many of them faced similar challenges: stagnating reach, lack of structure, uncertainty about the next career step, or the question of how to position themselves professionally and sustainably as independent artists.

To address this issue, she founded her own platform, Be Your Own Star, in 2021, a coaching and mentoring program for independent musicians. The focus is on building a clear artistic identity, strategic brand development, visibility on social media and streaming platforms, and sustainable monetization of music. Christina's work combines structure, strategy, and entrepreneurial thinking with creativity, authenticity, and a deep understanding of the emotional challenges of the industry.

At the same time, Christina is part of the core team of Traumfabrik – Showtheater der Phantasie, one of the most successful touring productions in the German-speaking world. There, she is responsible for marketing, ticketing, and social media strategies, works closely with event organizers, tourism partners, and sponsors, and provides organizational support for the production during tours. Working at Traumfabrik combines artistic excellence with large-scale event and tour structures and deepens Christina's experience in live entertainment, audience engagement, and professional production processes.

Since 2025, she has also been leading the Empowering Music Community (EMC), a professional space for exchange, feedback, and growth. The community is being developed in collaboration with Südpark Studio and experienced vocal coach Yvonne Gundacker and is aimed at musicians who want to grow, network, and learn from each other in the long term.

Christina works closely with recording studios, vocal coaches, booking partners, and international industry players, and also collaborates with platforms such as Spotify to connect artists and raise their profile in the best possible way. Her approach is holistic: artistic, strategic, and economic at the same time.

Their goal: to support musicians in building their careers in a way that is not only artistically fulfilling, but also economically successful and sustainable in the long term.
