My name is Christina Baur, I am an artist manager, coach and mentor based in Munich, London and Los Angeles.
I started my career early, with piano lessons at the age of eight, acting training and a deep love of art and live music. (How many concerts have I attended? I don't know, but it's countless!)

After finishing high school, I completed an internship at one of Germany’s largest radio stations — and that’s when I knew I wanted to work with artists.
I went on to earn a degree in Tourism and Event Management in both Germany and California, gaining hands-on experience at festivals in the U.S., touring with ensembles, and working in online marketing, time management, visa coordination, and artist support.

Today, I work for an international artist management company based in London and Los Angeles, where I actively manage 5–6 artists each week.
We handle bookings, contract negotiations, websites, single releases through our own label, and even support our artists while they’re on tour.

Over the past few years, I have accompanied over 200 artists on their journey, whether as a coach or manager. Many of them were frustrated with their reach, unclear about their next career move or didn't know how to position themselves professionally as independent artists.

This is exactly where I founded my own platform in 2021:
Be Your Own Star - the coaching & mentoring program for independent musicians.
Here I support artists in building a strong artist brand, increasing their reach on social media & streaming platforms and finally monetizing their music, with structure, strategy & a lot of heart.

Since 2025 I have also been running the Empowering Music Community (EMC), a place for exchange, feedback and growth, together with Südpark Studio and the experienced vocal coach Yvonne Gundacker.

I work closely with recording studios, vocal coaches, booking partners, and platforms like Spotify to help artists build strong networks and gain visibility.

My goal?
