Dream big: How to prepare your way into the charts as a musician

I know you may have had this thought too: "What if my song really makes it into the charts?" Maybe you've immediately pushed it to one side again because it sounds too big, too unrealistic or too "mainstream".

But I'll tell you something today: you can have this dream. You can keep it. And you can work on integrating it into your very own music business - whether you're from Munich, Berlin or a small village, whether you're an independent or have a small team.

I have accompanied many artists who started out with exactly this goal: not to become famous, but because they knew that their music could make a difference.

If your goal is to get your music into the charts - maybe not tomorrow, but in the next few years - then start strategizing now:

1. your songs must generate emotion AND recognition
The best chart hits have something that stays with you: a feeling, a sentence, a sound that gets under your skin. Don't write for the algorithm - but understand it. Your music coaching should go hand in hand with artistic intuition.

2. your release plan is your foundation
No success without structure. You need clear timelines, visuals, music promotion and - most importantly - lead time. No hit is created overnight. I work with musicians who plan their EPs 9-12 months in advance, including social media strategy, playlist pitching and touring.

3. you can't do it without the community
Today, the charts measure more than just sales. Streams, shares, interactions - they all count. If you build a small, loyal community that is passionate about your music, you have the strongest foundation. And that starts with every single follower you meet honestly today.

4. don't let the "music system" stop you
Many musicians believe that nothing works without a label or manager. But that's no longer true. Especially in German-speaking countries, there are successful female artists who have done their own thing. Do you want it to be easier? Yes. But do you have to wait? No.

I want to give you a message: Getting into the charts is not the goal - but it can be part of your journey. If you start today to take your career as a musician seriously, to professionalize your music, to consciously choose your performances and to focus your energy - then you are already in the middle of it.

And if you want, I can support you. Not with promises, but with real strategy, structure and mindset work. Because as I like to say:
Success is no coincidence. It is a decision.

Kind regards
