Musician in the cycle – why your body is not an excuse, but your greatest navigation system

It's just before your gig. You feel heavy, unfocused, your head is spinning. On paper, you're perfectly prepared, but your body says no.

Maybe nothing at all. Maybe you're just in the wrong phase of your cycle and no one ever told you that it matters.

The cycle as a factor in the music business

Many musicians work against their cycle because the music business doesn't take it into account.
Tour dates, studio time, posting reels, booking calls: everything runs linearly.
But the female body doesn't work that way.

He has phases. And each one brings something that you can use to your advantage if you know him.

What you need in the four phases

Menstruation:

Sensitivity. Clarity, but also doubt.
✧ Good for creative depth, texts, internal decisions.

Why this has nothing to do with weakness

Many believe that living according to your cycle is unprofessional.
But the opposite is true:
Working cyclically means working with your body, not against it.

I see this time and again with female artists:
Those who know their rhythm make better decisions. They build themselves up in a more sustainable way. They avoid burnout.

Your body is part of your strategy

You don't need wellness coaching, you need clarity.
Because when you know your cycle, you can:
