Become visible now: August as a branding insider tip

August is a quiet time for many event organizers. It's vacation time, the big festivals are over and the mailboxes aren't as full. This is exactly your chance to make yourself known - without getting lost in the noise.

Instead of waiting until everyone becomes active again in September, you can work quietly in August - but remain visible.

What you can do specifically to position yourself now:

  1. Show your summer project
Whether it's a new song, a behind-the-scenes clip or a songwriting process - now is the perfect time to show something personal. Authenticity stands out in summer because it's quieter.

  2. Use social media strategically
Plan three to four posts for August that show your work, your music and you as a person. Don't think too complicated. A brief insight with honest text can achieve more than a perfectly edited video.

  3. Contact Bookende
in a targeted manner Precisely because there is less going on, your chances of getting a genuine response increase. Write short, friendly emails. Ask if you can send your new material. No mass emails - an individual approach works wonders.

  4. Update your website or your EPK
Many people now have time to revise their profiles. If you want to be visible, August is the ideal month to tidy up technically and realign yourself.

  5. Connect with other musicians
Summer is a good time to network. Write to colleagues, listen to new music, comment honestly. This creates a real community - and benefits your branding in the long term.

Why is this important right now?
Because August is underestimated. While others take a break, you can grow. And when everyone returns in September, you'll already be in the flow.

If you need inspiration on what to share or how to present yourself online, you'll find lots of concrete ideas in my coaching sessions.

Kind regards
